I like that it brings together a group spirit...we always talk/daydream about what we are going to do if we win. And I like most of all, that it will be ME to inform my group that 'we are the big winners.'

Two favorites - SuperLOTTO Plus and MEGA Millions. I split our group's contributions between those two games and we play every draw.

I have a work group which usually has between 12 - 20 players and we have played now for 7 years.

How do you get your group motivated to play?

I keep telling them that we're getting warmer. I also use the calculator that is available on the Jackpot Captain's website. That always keeps them motivated to know exactly how much their share would be if we won.

Does your group have any rituals, good luck charms or lucky numbers?

PAULETTE:

When I pass out the copies of the tickets for the upcoming draws, I tell everyone to light candles. But I don't think they do. I try to choose different or lucky retailers that have won in the past and we always do the quick picks.

What would your reaction be if you won the Lottery?

It would be like someone who picked up a casserole dish from the oven without any mittens. There would be screaming, yelling, laughing, jumping and maybe some crying.

What would you buy for yourself? What would you buy for another person?

PAULETTE:
|
I would buy my house and pay my bills and if anything was left over, I would buy another lotto ticket. I would put away for my daughter's college and buy her a new car.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
|

|
|

PAULETTE:
|
With the little spare time I have, I like photography, video editing on the computer and cooking. But if I was to win the California Lottery, my new hobby would be collecting coins from around the world!
